German scientist got the title of Honorary Professor of NSUACE (Sibstrin)
By the decision of the Academic Council of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the title of Honorary Professor of NSUACE (Sibstrin) was awarded to a long-time friend and partner of our university Dr. Uwe Gaisbauer, head of the Gas Dynamic Laboratory at the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics of the University of Stuttgart. The honorary diploma was given to the well-known scientist by the rector Yury L. Skolubovich during the meeting with representatives of the delegation from the German university. The rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) noted that there is a great potential within the framework of scientific, educational and industrial projects of cooperation with the University of Stuttgart.
Dr. Uwe Gaisbauer expressed his gratitude for the appreciation of his contribution to the development of partnership between the universities and promised to make every effort to further develop the cooperation between NSUACE (Sibstrin) and the University of Stuttgart.
The delegation of the University of Stuttgart consisting of Uwe Gaisbauer and Erasmus + program coordinator Catherine Muller arrived at our University on April 23. During the week, Dr. Gaisbauer read a full-time course of lectures on "Applied aerodynamics" in the framework of the Erasmus + program and took an exam from students of the course – students and undergraduates of ngasu (sibstrin).
On April 29, 2019, a meeting of the delegation of the University of Stuttgart (Germany) with the heads of universities - members to the Consortium of Novosibirsk universities was held in NSUACE (Sibstrin). The purpose of the meeting was to determine the prospects for further partnership of universities.
